FEBRUARY 18, 2020 — The UTSA Alumni Association has partnered with the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program to help members of the UTSA community meet the looming tax filing deadline.
Volunteers who are IRS-certified will be on campus on three dates to provide free basic income tax return preparation with electronic filing.
“We partnered with VITA last year, and the response was overwhelmingly positive and showed us there is a real desire for assistance,” said Steve Woodall, interim executive director of the association. “Doing taxes can be stressful, so if we can support our community to make it a bit easier, we are pleased to help out.”
