PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WJHG) - You can start filing your taxes next Monday, and if you're in need of some help, free assistance is available. Jordan McCool was live with the details.
Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) is setting up shop on the Bill Cramer Chevrolet Cadillac Buick GMC property, in a building in the back of the lot. Their doors are now open Tuesdays through Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. They will remain in operation until April 15.
To qualify you must make less than $66,000 a year, have a social security cards for all people filing and bring in banking information for direct deposit.
