STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. -- The Staten Island Council of Jewish Organizations (COJO) is holding an event Monday night for houses of worship and schools that need assistance applying for security grants.
The event will be held at 7:30 p.m. at Young Israel of Staten Island, located at 835 Forest Hill Rd.
The workshop, which will be hosted by David Pollok, executive director of the Jewish Community Relations Council New York (JCRC-NY), is open to all borough houses of worship and school.
The NYPD’s new Manhattan/Staten Island Security Manager Terrence Byrne will also educate attendees on crime prevention.
