East Palestine Social Concerns will be preparing for holiday assistance. Harvest Sunday food collections will be held in local churches on October 31 and November 7. Food donations can also be left at the East Palestine Library and Sparkle Market from November 1 to December 12. Sign-up for Thanksgiving assistance will be Monday, November 1, at Centenary Methodist Church from 9:30-11 and 5-6. Sign-up for Christmas is at the same place and times on Monday, November 8. This holiday assistance is only for residents of the East Palestine School District, so proof of residence is required.
