A Columbia University grad student stabbed to death in Morningside Park desperately cried out for help before collapsing, part of a horrifying random attack caught on video, according to new court papers.

“Help, I have been stabbed!” 30-year-old Davide Giri exclaimed as he stumbled off after being fatally knifed in the gut, a criminal complaint filed in Manhattan Criminal Court revealed.

Chilling surveillance video shows Giri, who was from Italy, being approached from behind and stabbed in the Upper Manhattan park near Columbia’s campus shortly before 11 p.m. during a 20-minute rampage that also wounded another Italian man, the document says.

The injured victim had just arrived in the city as a “visiting scholar” at Columbia, the school said.

The surveillance footage “depicts a man wearing a red hoodie under a dark jacket approach Davide Giri from behind, make a stabbing motion, and then Giri runs away” before falling to the ground, the complaint says.

Minutes later, the man in the same red hoodie and jacket stabbed the Italian scholar “in the torso multiple times,” the document says. The victim was hospitalized for “several stab wounds to the back and torso including one that punctured his internal organs.”

Vincent Pinkney was arrested for allegedly stabbing a person unprovoked on W110th Street at Morningside Drive in New York, NY around 11 p.m. on December 2, 2021.

Cops later recovered a knife “from the pocket of the red hoodie defendant is wearing,” the papers say.

Doctors at St. Luke’s Medical Center, where Giri was pronounced dead after the attack, said he “suffered a stab wound that punctured his vena cava and caused him to die,” the complaint said.

The new details of the attack surfaced as accused killer Vincent Pinkney, a 25-year-old ex-con, was arraigned on murder, attempted murder and assault charges in the case Sunday and ordered held without bail, authorities said.

Pinkney shuffled into Manhattan Criminal Court with his hands cuffed and his legs shackled, wearing a white Tyrek suit to face Judge Neill Ross.

The reputed gang member did not saying anything and looked subdued throughout the proceeding.

His lawyer asked that Pinkney undergo a psych exam and be placed in protective custody. The judge agreed to both requests before remanding Pinkney to Riker’s Island.

The suspect had had his arraignment postponed for more than a day because he claimed he had stomach pains and was taken to the hospital for treatment.

During his rampage, Pinkney, who has a lengthy rap sheet, also threatened a couple walking their dog, authorities have said. The threatened man helped cops nab the suspect.

Meanwhile, the man who Pinkney allegedly wounded, Roberto Malaspina, 27, had only been in the Big Apple for one day when he was attacked. He was hospitalized in stable condition.

In a Twitter post Saturday, Columbia University said Malaspina “had just arrived from Italy to begin several months as a Visiting Scholar” at the school.

Pinkney, who sources said is a member of the Everybody Killa, or EBK street gang, has 11 arrests dating to 2012 on a variety of charges.

He was convicted of gang assault in 2015 after he and three others brutally beat and slashed a man in Jamaica two years earlier.

He served fewer than three years in state prison in that case, state records show.
