MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — Universities across West Virginia have received guidance on which students will be eligible for emergency financial assistance grants.
Institutions will be abiding under an order from the U.S. Department of Education using money from the federal stimulus measured passed last month.
Students must qualify for federally-funded grants and loans. They also could not be exclusively enrolled in online programs before the university closed campus for the coronavirus pandemic.
Students should submit their FAFSA form so officials can determine eligibility.
Students who received additional assistance from the university can apply for emergency financial assistance grants.
