It’s become increasingly clear that the New England Patriots may have stumbled upon another phenomenal young quarterback. That would be young Mac Jones. He’s that good.
With help, New England Patriots Mac Jones can take the Patriots anywhere, and that includes to the top of the NFL and Super Bowl wins.
For too many years, for whatever mind-boggling reasons, they failed to provide weapons to one Tom Brady, aka the GOAT, the greatest quarterback of all time. Shame on them.
Why the New England Patriots personnel operation is the key to their future
We may just have another one of these mega-stars in tow right now in the person of Mac Jones, rookie Patriots quarterback.
He’s not just good, he’s already completing passes at a rate (71.1 percent in his first five games) that is close to all-time good.
As has been noted before, that is Drew Brees good. And he’s just a five-game rookie, not a two or three-year semi-seasoned young quarterback.
In his last game, this young rookie had a meager 76.6 percent passing completion rate against the Houston Texans.
New England Patriots Mac Jones needs a top supporting cast to work with
The Patriots this offseason made a real effort to improve their team spurred on by one Mr. Robert Kraft, the team owner. Yet, they failed to improve two positions.
First, they failed to land a true No. 1 receiver. Instead, they brought in two good receivers, two decent but not special ones in Nelson Agholor and Kendrick Bourne. It’s hurting them now.
Second, they failed to draft or otherwise obtain an NFL-tested offensive tackle for depth after they traded for Trent Brown.
On the plus side on offense, the Patriots loaded up at the tight end position. They brought in two solid NFL-tested tight ends in Jonnu Smith and Hunter Henry. They are doing their jobs.

Write for us!The Patriots somehow stumbled upon a gem in this young exceptional quarterback Mac Jones at pick 15 in the draft. No trade up. Nothing. He just fell to them. That’s just luck.
His offensive line has been offensive, except when four starters were out and the makeshift line did the job. Interesting.
Yet, whenever he actually has any time at all to pass (and also when he doesn’t) he threads the needle and gets a completion.
So, the ultimate test for this Patriots regime now and going forward is this, are you ready, willing, and able to deliver the offensive weapons to Mac Jones to allow him to do what he can do?
That is, win games, win Division titles, win AFC Championships and win Super Bowls? Are you ready to give him the tools, and give him the talent?
Or, conversely, will you continue, inexplicably, to do what you did with Tom Brady and seldom deliver the receivers, etc. he could have used to rack up double-digit Super Bowl wins?
It’s your choice, Mr. Kraft, Mr. Bill Belichick, and whoever else is in a decision-making role on personnel. You’ve been given a rare second chance, please don’t blow it. Give Mac the weapons.
